Are you a Wellsite Geologist? Have you got experience in remote, hot, onshore environments? If so then my client could have the role for you.Due to a member of staff moving on my client is seeking a Geo-steering experience geologist to join their team in Chad, on a 28/28 rotational basis. In order to achieve a good handover period with the current incumbent, they're looking to have this person in country on or before April 10th.If you are experience in the following, this is the right role for you;Monitoring, coordination, and quality control (QC) of well site geological data acquisition personnel to ensure complete and accurate geological and formation evaluation data is acquired.Providing wellsite Drilling personnel with information needed to ensure safe and efficient drilling operations.Training and mentoring of geological wellsite personnel in Company's processes and procedures.Monitoring compliance with all safety and environmental regulations by geological data acquisition personnel.Evaluating and documenting wellsite geological data acquisition personnel and equipment performance for compliance and competence.Close monitoring of potential geohazards such as unexpected shallow gas, borehole instability plus abnormal formation pressure and fracture gradients.
