The Reservoir Engineering Specialist will be part of the Well/Reservoir Surveillance and Digitalization Team and serve as RESMAN's expert on the reservoir engineering aspects of inflow tracer applications.
Start date is to be agreed with Head of Well/Reservoir Surveillance and Digitalization, Martin Bennetzen. Workplace will be our office in Stavanger.
Education: Minimum MSc in Applied Science, Physics, Petroleum/Reservoir Engineering or similar;
3-5 years of relevant work experience from O&G; operator and/or service company.
Experience with reservoir engineering and production optimization
Experience with economics and programming/scripting is considered a great advantage
Fluent in English. Other relevant languages is considered a great asset.
Technical sales and client interaction (extensive traveling can be expected)
Support sales organization
Task force work on key client projects
Interact with client to facilitate incorporation of RESMAN data into client data workstreams
Software programming (for internal and external use)
Value of information (VOI) studies and showcasing
Various economical assessments
Drive digitalization and data integration approaches.
Data analytics and statistics
Field case analysis of inflow tracer data
Develop diagnostic plot and pattern recognition methods
Key company expert in continuous monitoring applications and VOI analysis
Company roll-out of new initiatives (internally and externally)
