Seven Generations is seeking a candidate for the following position in its Calgary office:

Team Lead, Reservoir Engineer (20+ years’ of experience)
Description of Responsibilities:
The Team Lead, Reservoir Engineering will lead a team of reservoir engineers to perform fundamental reservoir performance evaluations on the unconventional Montney reservoir. They will work with the Geoscience team to define key reservoir properties and develop a long-term depletion strategy to maximize resource value. This will include working with the Completions team to create optimal completion designs to maximize productivity and recovery.
Accountabilities:
Build and lead a high performing team of reservoir engineers.
Develop optimal depletion strategies for various areas within the Montney reservoir
Reservoir characterization - integrate geological, geophysical, and engineering data across unconventional and conventional reservoirs as well as disposal reservoirs
Perform type curve and well test analysis on the Montney and other prospective reservoirs
Construct reservoir models in coordination with the Geoscience Team to quantify resource in place, assess performance, and identify opportunities
Apply reservoir engineering knowledge, including material balance, open hole and production log analysis and interpretation techniques
Work with other disciplines to determine optimal well design and well density
Collaborate closely with Completion and Geoscience teams to design completion programs
Complete the annual reserve evaluation
Assess the potential, make recommendations and execute on enhanced oil recovery projects
Experience required:
A Professional Engineer with 20+ years of Oil & Gas experience
A highly motivated team player with good communication, organizational and technical skills
Strong leadership and project management skills, with a track record of successfully managing and executing multiple assignments
Experience working with GeoScout/AccuMap,ValNav, and reservoir modeling/simulation software
Experience in generating risked original oil in place/original gas in place, production profiles, and recoverable volume estimates for unconventional reservoirs
Experience with economic evaluations in support of Development Team
