We are currently looking to fill a Student Co-op, Geology position. This is a 6 to 8 month position, commencing in May 2018 and based at our Calgary Office.
In this opportunity, you will receive exposure to multiple reservoirs and rock types in Western Canada. You will be accountable for:
Well log interpretation, creating geological cross-sections, geological mapping, core description, and well test analysis
Carrying out projects within a team or individually while making technical recommendations
Completing other tasks as assigned
Comfortable working both independently and on a team, recognizing you only succeed when the entire team succeeds.
Self-motivated and driven to make an impact through offering ideas and managing priorities.
Displays a growth mindset with a willingness to learn and be challenged.
Strong computer literacy (including MS Office Suite, GeoScout experience also an asset) and are willing to find ways to use technology to drive value.
Strong communication skills and an openness to feedback (both providing and receiving).
Third year Geology student
Preference given to those with previous experience.
