Because remarkable people achieve remarkable things.  Job Description:  Staff Petroleum Engineer at Vito, a major Deepwater development in the GoM, and globally one of Shells Emerging Flagship projects. Vito will be Shells first Deepwater project with all wells gas lifted. Vito is in Execute phase since Q2 2018, with successful FID in Q2 2018, and first oil in 2021.The individual in this position will be a key technical contributor to a multi-disciplinary Vito Subsurface Development Team and will be responsible for supporting RE,  including fulfilling the well delivery and process control document requirements of the wells pre-drill, and updates post-drill to understand the impact to translate production performance on early wells to impact decisions on the next wells in the sequence.   This person will need to support and assure integration of the well results into the reservoir model, and incorporate impact to remaining well locations, reserves, and business plan on-the-flyin real time. Will work with many stakeholders on project sub-teams such as Wells, Subsea, Topsides, Development Planning, Operations, Contracts, Finance, Economics and potentially BOEM/BSSE (GOM Regulator) and Working Interest Owners. Job Requirements: Must have a minimum of 10 years of production technology experience.Must have a Bachelors Degree in Petroleum, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.Experience with Define to FDP stage for a major deepwater project.Experience in the execute phase with a deepwater project, in support of drilling activities.Experience with the following software such as: GAP/Prosper/MBAL and Nodal.Production Surveillance and WRFM experience.Preferred Requirements: Experience with Open Hole Gravel Packs, Gas Lift design, and installation.Experience with Deepwater well delivery and Process Safety.Experience in the GOM Regulatory/Permitting.
