TITLE: Sr. Specialist Petroleum Engineer for Asset Integrity of GTM Pipeline Integrity
Sr. Specialist Petroleum Engineer will lead efforts in maintaining Asset Integrity Management Plans and Procedures as well as performing Integrity assessments of GTM’s gas storage wells.
Enbridge GTM uses salt caverns and reservoirs located along the pipeline to provide a suite of services to various customer types (tariff-based and market-based) and to load-balance pipeline flows.
Monitor storage field wellbore and reservoir integrity.
Determine storage field capacities, monitor and track gas inventory asset.
Manage and optimize the storage reservoir asset.
Provide petroleum engineering and geological support to storage field and tech staff.
Prepare and maintain federal and state storage regulatory compliance filings and reporting
Act as technical storage issues liaison with other Company business groups.
Maintain geologic and petroleum engineering maps, studies, logs and well files relating to storage fields.
Representing the company in storage field partnerships, meetings with energy and gas storage industry professionals, contractor and service company relationships, and in contact with Federal, State, and local regulatory representatives
Leading engineering and geotechnical support of storage business issues including being a liaison with Technical Services, E&C;, Operations, Asset Planning & Project Development, Marketing, Capacity Management, Business Development, Regulatory, and Management
Proposing, justifying and implementing O&M; and Capital project develop to maintain storage field safe operations
Participating in SOP development and maintenance, storage risk assessments and mitigations
Contacts (Working Relationships)

Directors, Managers, Supervisors within Asset Integrity for coordination of programs and delivery of strategic asset management guidance
Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Geological Engineering, or closely related field.
10 years of experience in the Gas Storage or E&P; industries
Able to Travel 15% or more of the time
Exposed to stressful situations where smart decisions must be made without supervision
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
Specific vision abilities is required by this employee that include vision, and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time
high level of expertise and experience in a majority of the following key gas storage engineering job skills:
Gas Storage operations
Gas Storage facility surface and subsurface equipment
Gas inventory verification and analysis
Applied knowledge of geological conditions of gas storage fields in the NE US
Advanced knowledge of conducting well logging operations and well log analysis including petrophysical logs
Advanced knowledge of well testing procedures and analysis including transient pressure analysis
Development of FERC regulatory filings and periodic reporting
Knowledge of State oil & gas and gas storage regulatory requirements in the NE US
Safe well site conditions and requirements
Maintaining a wellbore integrity and inspection program including running and analyzing pipe inspection logs
Contracting, managing, and supervising outside technical consultants and service companies
Strong computer hardware and software skills including database, GIS/mapping and log analysis applications
