Focused on deepwater Gulf of Mexico this Houston-based oil exploration company has a team of deepwater expertise behind its success in just a few short years. Their growth strategy is to capture drill-ready prospects by working alongside recognized industry players in the GOM's subsalt play and maximize the probability of success. They are currently seeking a Sr. Reservoir Simulation Engineer who will, amongst other things, build, run, and calibrate simulation models to determine probabilistic assessment of recovery of deepwater reservoirs in the Gulf of Mexico. Qualifications include a BS in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline; minimum of eight (8) years of experience working with Eclipse, VIP, or CMG; strong preference for GOM expertise but similar deepwater experience in other basins will be considered; and working proficiency with the use of GAP, Prosper, and MBAL as well. The company offers a competitive base salary and target bonus, comprehensive health benefits, 401K match, short- and long-term incentives, stock B series, flex schedule, and vacation.
