Job Title: Senior Reservoir Engineering Technologist

Reports to: Reservoir Engineering Manager

Job Description

Summary of Position
The Senior Reservoir Engineering Technologist provides technical and analytical support to the reservoir engineering
team. This includes working independently and collaboratively with reservoir engineering, geoscience, land,
accounting, and finance departments to provide technical support and data analyses. Additional contributions
include working with the board on special evaluations and requests.

Job Responsibilities:
Participates in reserve updates, economic evaluations, development planning, forecasting, budgeting, and
preparation of board presentation materials
Responds to data requests and contributes to the coordination of joint venture partner program
Demonstrates strong data management skills with proven ability to build, maintain and extract information from
Possesses a high proficiency with ARIES software:
o Back-end data updating and data transfer knowledge:
o Set up of new wells (operated and non-operated)
o Production data updates from external data sources

o Updates to property/master table items and economic tables items
o Perform basic forecasting and economic runs
o Provide well and production updates to reserve coordinator/consultant
o Provide required data for quarterly/year-end reserves and bank requests
o General QA/QC, database maintenance, and cleanup

Minimum Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline is preferred
Position requires strong analytical skills and sound business awareness
High proficiency with Aries, Access, Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.)
GIS and Petra experience helpful
Knowledge of Spotfire preferred
o Support in building and maintaining Spotfire projects and analyzing data
o Ability to write scripts a plus
o Ability to import shape files
Ability to thrive in both an independent and collaborative work environment and have exceptional skills in managing
multiple demands, including prioritizing deadlines
Ability to be flexible and grasp new concepts quickly
Minimum 10 years of experience
