The position will be based in DNOs Oslo office and work together with our development team to provide critical expertise into the management and development of DNOs assets. Work undertaken will have a direct impact on the business decisions made by the Company. Key ResponsibilitiesField development planning, monitoring and reservoir managementProduction allocation, reporting and forecastingPerform volumetric, reserves and economics assessmentWell test design, interpretation and supervisionManage Companys reservoir-related databasesReporting and presentation Required Qualifications and ExperienceIdeally MSc Petroleum Engineering or, as minimum BS degree in Petroleum Engineering (or equivalent).10+ years of experience in the E&P; Industry. Extensive experience with an operatorSpecialist within the discipline of analysis and reservoir modelling of fractured carbonatesThorough knowledge of reservoir engineering fundamentals and experience of reservoir engineering aspects of different reservoir systemsGood understanding of static and dynamic reservoir characterization and 3D modelling techniquesKnowledge and understanding of other subsurface disciplines and petroleum economics Key AttributesSignificant technical competencyStrong workstation skills, expertise with modelling & simulation software (preferably Petrel/Eclipse), and other reservoir engineering software applications (Petroleum Expers IPM suite, Kappa), ability to learn new softwareFlexible, adaptable, problem solving, resourcefulGood interpersonal, presentation, communication and reporting skills (fluency in verbal and written English language), including recognition of local cultural requirementsGood organizational skills to plan and execute multiple studies/projects simultaneouslyAbility to work independently, in team and across functional groupsInitiative and desire to learn and expand within roleModerate business travel required The role is based in the DNO headoffice in Oslo, and reports into the Head of Reservoir Engineering .Please ensure that you apply with a PDF version of your resume.
