This individual will have responsibility for maximizing the value of the company through reserve growth, production growth and capital efficiency for not only our current assets but future opportunities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct reservoir studies and generate/update type curves as required to advance the team technical understanding of the play and assist regional reserves coordinator with quarterly and annual reserves to submit to corporate reserves group
Work with members of the Subsurface team (engineering and geoscience) to assist in well planning and integrated long-range plans
Work closely with Drilling and Completions to optimize well schedule and frac design and work directly with Operations staff to optimize future results and existing base production - well surveillance and analysis
Assist in reviewing technical and economic evaluations of existing and new development areas, as well as identifying/implementing development strategies •
Contribute and participate in technical reviews, well approvals and look backs
Assist management in forecasting future production and revenue
Implications of spacing and stacking with completions design to maximize value.
Opportunities to contribute to special projects - for example: offset frac impact, re-frac, de frac, enhanced oil recovery.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
B.Sc. in Engineering from an accredited university
5-10 years of reservoir and production experience, 3-5 years minimum in unconventional reservoirs
Proficient user of Aries, Microsoft Office, Harmony, DrillIngInfo or IHS. Enersight, Cygnet or Canary experience an asset
