Description

Provide Reservoir Engineering support for new ventures evaluations in North America. Play a key role in the commercial and technical analysis of a wide variety of North America opportunities.

Major Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Screen North American New Venture opportunities
Generate EUR estimates, production forecasts, and economics inputs
Generate screening economics
Present and justify individual and team recommendations to Senior Management

Required Skills
Proficiency in classical reservoir engineering; pressure transient and decline curve analysis, formation evaluation, and production forecasting
Understanding of full life-cycle project economic analysis
Strong understanding of unconventional well performance analysis techniques
Working knowledge of production/facilities/drilling engineering
Basic reservoir simulation experience preferred
North America experience preferred
Ability to handle multiple assignments under tight deadlines
Work with inter-discipline new ventures team(s)
Ability to make sound technical and economic decisions with incomplete information
Good communication and presentation skills and ability to present technical and commercial recommendations to Senior Management

Required Experience
B.S. in Engineering (Petroleum Engineering preferred)
At least 10 years of reservoir engineering experience with emphasis on resource plays
Knowledge of unconventional production and completion practices
Economics evaluation experience (ARIES is preferred)
