This position will report to the Director of Petrophysics and the Manager of North America Exploration. As part of the exploration team, the successful candidate will support a variety of projects focused on evaluation of conventional and unconventional reservoirs.

Responsibilities include:

Provide Petrophysics support for North America exploration and evaluation projects.Provide Petrophysics support for International Unconventional exploration and evaluation projects.Work across functional teams sharing best practices and knowledge of evaluation processes.Demonstrate proficiency in conventional and unconventional Petrophysical analytical techniques.Provide guidance and expert advice in advanced core analysis.Work closely with geologists, geophysicists and engineers.
Qualifications
BS degree or higher in a Geoscience or Engineering discipline.10 or more years of Petrophysical Engineering industry experience.Knowledge of Petrophysical workflows applied to conventional and unconventional reservoirs.Must be current with the latest industry tools and Petrophysical interpretation techniques working with both clastic, carbonate and organic mudstone reservoirs.Familiarity with methods of core retrieval, handling, and competent in the design and evaluation of routine and special core and cuttings analysis programs.Competent in core to log data integration and analysis of production data including decline curve and rate transient analysis.Rock mechanics background is desirable.Possess good organizational, presentation, and communication skills, written and verbal.Strong mentoring and collaborative skills.
