Description

Handling upstream oil and gas Smart Field and optimization projects, as well as a sound understanding of integrated asset management projects.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support countries and Product Lines to execute billable and non-billable projects

Provide domain expertise in all client engagements

Participate in the client engagement cycle from lead to execution stages

Collaborate with SAMs and Business Development Mgrs to provide bid support

Develop and promote integrated solutions and consulting services and via technical papers, conference participations, etc.

Manage/assist multidisciplinary teams. Provide technical leadership to multi-disciplinary projects. The candidate should have a good understanding of reservoir, well, and surface network modelling concepts, and of software packages used in each discipline.

Work with a team and the client, advising on data as needed to estimate production potential, determine the best artificial lift strategy to maximize production and minimize costs through the life of the well. Identify potential issues for the client, form hypothesis based on technical data or simulations and present solutions or alternatives to the client.

Support new solution development via field trials and develop data to support commercialization

Work with the software/manufacturing managers to ensure timely/on schedule release of dependent software/hardware

Develop solution launch plans, including presentations, promotions, and coordinate launch activities with marketing, supply chain, and operations

Work closely with R&D to bring concepts faster to the market & foster market driven innovation

Ensure compliance with and commitment to, company processes like, but not limited to, EEP, QHSSE, submission and approval of AFEs

Responsible for collaborating with other technical lead disciplines in reservoir and well construction to pursue combined opportunities in the regions.

Provides thought leadership for the regional and country operations and assist in recruiting for projects won as well as proposal generation and technical support in customer presentations.

QUALIFICATIONS

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to formulate a development/solutions strategy for both conventional and unconventional resources.

Experience with defining completion strategies, performing production allocation and selecting reservoir and surface condition for reliable production forecasting

Experience with production challenges under primary recovery; secondary recovery including water flood, gas injection; and EOR methods.

Experience with digital oil field technology for real time production optimization, production accounting, well management etc.

Experience of performing flow assurance studies for reliable surface network operation

Well testing

Degree in Petroleum, Electrical, Computer Engineering or Business Administration

Minimum of 8years’ experience in oil & gas industry. Minimum 5 years of experience in one or more areas - Digital Oilfield, Production Optimization, Smart Field , Intelligent Field Development Technologies, Engineering and Business Computer Applications, SCADA, Telecommunication, System Development and Implementation. Domestic and international project experience.

Preferred:

Master’s degree preferred
