Steward and perform technical supervision of Petroleum Engineering activities of the QP operated oilfields, including all
aspects of well completion, workover and rigless wellwork (from job design to on-site implementation); well surveillance,
well / field network performance modelling / optimization and reservoir management activities. Participate in
interdisciplinary reservoir study teams.
Experience & Skills
Experience of 15 years as a Petroleum Engineer in the Oil and Gas industry with demonstrated Surveillance/Production
Engineering expertise in optimizing well production in large oil and gas fields.Proven experience at recommending remedial
wellwork solutions for oil and gas wells in heterogeneous reservoirsExperience with periodic production rate testing for
wells and allocation of well test/production dataGeneral understanding of production surface facilities and well integrity
management.Experience with tubing & IPR modelling and Gas Lift design/troubleshooting.Experience with interpretation of
cased hole production and diagnostic logsMust have strong teamwork skills. Experience working in a multicultural
environment is a plus. Must be able to communicate effectively with peers, field staff and managementExperience in acid
stimulation of carbonate reservoirs.Proven experience in design and execution of surveillance programs for CO2 WAG
flooding, including data management systems. Proven experience in performance monitoring and evaluation of CO2 WAG
flooding.Proven experience in collaboration with engineering, field staff and contractors to ensure new EOR pilot facilities
and new operating procedures will meet pilot objectives.Desirable to have experience working in mature producing fields
where finding, assimilating, and integrating data from incomplete files and variable sources can be challenging. Desirable to
have experience mentoring less experienced engineers. Desirable to have experience in production and well integrity log
interpretation.Proven experience in application and evaluation of corrosion inhibition programs, in particular for CO2 wells,
and adequate knowledge of material selection for CO2 wells.Proven experience in application and evaluation of tracers.
Minimum a BSc degree in Petroleum Engineering or other related discipline.
