BHGE is looking for a Sr. Geoscientist with experience in Cased Hole Logging (Processing and Interpretation) to work at Bogotá, Colombia.
Deliver value to our customers by supporting and advising them in the area of cased hole geosciences services including (but not limited) casing integrity, cement evaluation, cased hole formation evaluation, fluids saturation and production logging.
Act as focal point with customer in any cased hole related work
Builds and develops technical and commercial business relationship with customers
Work close with Product Line to support any reservoir application of any proposed BHGE Service
Technical skills to support any deliverable or report around cased hole and to generate Geoscience products to our customers
Work close with Customers to assess their needs and develops solutions or advisory around any BHGE product or service
Participate in pre-job discussions with clients and operations to fulfill clients objectives to gather information of the well
Provides quality control of geoscience products.
Bachelor's Degree in Earth Science or Petroleum Engineering with at least 8 years of experience in Cased Hole Logging Processing and Interpretation
Good cased hole interpretation with good exposure and hands on experience in RPM and/or Production log interpretation in either internal or any of the third party software.
Confident in presenting the results to the clients, presentation skills, ability to mentor and train fresh graduates.
Understands earth science principles of E&P industry.
Good understanding of theory of basic wireline tools and possesses cross-disciplinary skills.
Software packages used in cased hole processing and analysis
Excellent English skills in writing and speaking
