Description This position will involve working across all technical disciplines including G&G, Land, Reservoir, Drilling, Completions, and Production. Responsibilities will include supporting reservoir engineer studies, supporting acquisitions & divestitures analyses, coordinating drilling & completion schedule activities, operations performance data management and analysis, budget and cost data management and analysis, generating accurate internal reports and schedules, and general coordination and administrative support for development planning teams. This position will require daily interaction with office and field personnel across multiple technical disciplines. Strong communication, analytical and organizational skills are required. Candidate must be proficient in all MSOffice programs and be able to create presentations and spreadsheets from scratch. Experience with scheduling and project management software and tools is a plus.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under supervision, responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following items:
• Support Reservoir Engineering studies and generate output analysis and slides
• Support Acquisitions & Divestiture analyses and generate output slides
• Coordinate drilling and completion schedule activities
• Coordinate well approval activities
• Create and utilize spreadsheets for operations performance data management and analysis
• Create and utilize spreadsheets for budget and cost data management and analysis
• Create and maintain electronic well and data files
• Provide data, information, and support to engineering and field operations staff
• Prepare effective communication tools and presentations
• Generate accurate weekly/monthly/quarterly reports and schedules
• Provide general coordination and administrative support to development planning teams
• Help develop project management tools and tracking processes
• Effectively interface across all technical areas
• Act as lead to lower level Engineering Techs by delegating work assignments, advising on technical problems and reviewing work for completeness and accuracy
• Other duties as required Requirements KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• Associates Degree or higher preferred
• 6-10 years of experience in an Engineering Tech position
• Excellent MSOffice software skills
• Proficient in ARIES; power-user preferred
• Ability to create presentations and communication tools with key learnings
• Proficient at extracting and recording data and data management
• Ability to understand and resolve data discrepancies
• Recognize variations, deviations and opportunities from the data
• Effective team player who takes an active role in team responsibilities
• Strong time management skills
• Ability to work with minimum of supervision
• Strong communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to work on multiple tasks
