Specialist Reservoir Engineer

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The Reservoir Engineer is expected to be a technical expert
within MOL Hungary, Subsurface Department in analytical Reservoir Engineering
tasks and dynamic reservoir modelling. The scope includes all significant touch
points for Reservoir Engineering, and, specifically, late appraisal to
development reservoir studies and PRMS/SPE reserve estimations.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for supporting the Reservoir
Development Teams, and for delivering Reservoir Engineering solutions to
MOL Hungary’s projects

Coordinates technical activities for the
ongoing Hungarian Subsurface projects

Provide support for Business Development
assessments, as necessary

Assist with QA/QC of Reservoir Engineering
deliverables, and with stage-gate and technical assurance processes

Lead project teams as assigned by supervisor

Assist in leading yearly internal reserve
assessments

Prepares drilling proposals and plan
drilling programs.

Ensures full collaboration and effective
communication of Reservoir Engineering activities within the integrated
project teams

Establishes preliminary economical outlines
of deposits based on analyses of the quality and size of deposits.

Mentor junior staff,
and assist with ensuring Reservoir Engineering excellence and best
practices

Requirements

EXPECTATIONS:
MSc in Geophysics/Geology/Petroleum Engineering

Prior experience with mentoring of young Engineers

Minimum 10 years relevant experience in Reservoir and/or Petroleum Engineering studies and operations

Experience with stage gate processes, development studies, field development plans (FDPs), and reserve management systems

Evidence of analytical and classical RE skills

Expert level in black oil and compositional numerical simulations

Microsoft Office advanced skills

An effective team player with drive, initiative, integrity, multi-cultural experience, and excel­lent communication skills

Fluency in English

Experience with Eclipse, Petrel RE, Kappa suite, Petroleum Experts suite
