You must have a solid, hands–on technical background using and supporting workflow in Simulation software. You must have a strong knowledge of contemporary Reservoir Simulation workflows and be ready to expand that knowledge with the industry’s best software for reservoir and production simulators
You should be a livewire – able to communicate your passion for great technology to audiences of all sizes. You should dynamic, self-learner, and willing to take challenges. In this position you will report to GSS Project Manager.
Reporting to the Services Project Manager, you are primarily responsible for executing integrated consulting services for oil and gas operators. This role will include an element of meet customer technical expectation, customer care, team player, as well as training and consulting functions.
Key areas of responsibility:
Software Consulting – Provide interpretation & analysis services as assigned across all domains of Emerson Exploration and Production Suite of applications.
Training - Ensure consistent high-quality delivery of training. Capable of conducting basic & advanced classroom training on the Interpretation suite of applications mainly for Simulation.
Support - Perform troubleshooting of client issues. Own issue until escalated appropriately and/or resolved with client satisfaction. Demonstrate proficiency with all Support procedures & the internal tracking and reporting systems
Professional Development - Continue to actively develop own technical expertise (self-learn) within Simulation and production suite. Actively seek personal development of non-technical competencies through assignments & formal training
Provide feedback to our TSA, Services Operation Manager, R&D; and Product Management groups to contribute to our ongoing development and evolution of the industry’s best solution.
Technical Reporting - Complete & submit Consultant Activity Reports after each project on a timely basis.
The ideal candidate will be conversant with industry standard Simulation and Production workflows, and will also have some experience of E&P;’s comprehensive suite of applications
Knowledge of Linux and windows operating systems
Strong analytical problem solving
Excellent communication in English and Spanish, and excellent presentation skills;
Experience with Pemex consulting companies preferred.
Flexible - must be able to travel
Holder of a Bs degree in Petroleum Engineering or Bs in alike area, Ms will be a plus
At least 5 years’ experience in a similar capacity.
