New hydrocarbon field, to be developed on a Fast Track way (FO end 2021)
Due to the economical context, the best possible evaluation of the stakes and the optimization of the development is of paramount importance. Respect of delays and deliverables quality is key for this project
JOB CONTENTS/PROBLEM SOLVING (ACTIVITIES)
Review the existing dynamic models, and update them if necessary, in perfect collaboration with the COMPANY HQ Study team
Revise/optimize/propose well location, design, trajectories...to optimize the wells pattern in perfect collaboration with the GSR team but also the Drilling and Completions (DCD) team
Review/Generate the various production profiles necessary for the Development studies
Work in close cooperation with Development team to answer rapidly to any clarifications or request
Prepare the field monitoring plan to be included in FDP
Write the Field Development Plan (reservoir part, mainly but in close cooperation and integration of the other parts)
Prepare, participate and eventually solicit, with the GSR Leader, the internal validation meetings.
Prepare, participate and eventually solicit, with the GSR Leader, Partners or Authorities meetings and workshops.
CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT
The Reservoir Engineer is a key part of the GSR team.
Being the only reservoir engineer in this team, he/she will have to be autonomous and experienced enough to revise/update the reservoir models, propose the optimized well locations and numbers, write the FDP before June 2018.
The Fast Track aspect of this development (FO scheduled end of 2021) add numerous constraints in terms of adaptability, reactivity, organization and capacity to communicate and convince the partners and authorities.
The team will be also composed of persons from various nationalities and companies, which add another level of complexity.
Due to the short delay, to know the internal validation process of the operator will be very helpful, as well as having a good experience in partner relationships/meetings.
Being fluent in French will be a plus.
Revise and update the dynamic models, keep records and justification of the modifications
Production profiles, Well pattern optimization, redaction of the Field Development Plan end of April
Prepare all the necessary documentation, data base updates (operator rules).
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Formal education: Bachelor of Sciences in Petroleum Engineering (or equivalent)
Professional experience: 7-8 years of experience in reservoir engineering and well monitoring
