The Department of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering at the University of Calgary invites applications for a Sessional Instructor to teach the following undergraduate-level course during the Winter 2019 Session:
ENPE 519.06 - Petroleum Engineering Design WS2
Description: Introduction to reservoir simulation; enhanced heavy oil recovery by chemical flooding, unconventional gas production; thermal methods for oil sands recovery; petroleum economics; technical presentation and report writing. Teams will continue their design projects developed in ENPE 519.05 Petroleum Engineering Design Workshop I. Detailed design of large scale development and commercial exploitation of a petroleum resource.
The successful candidate is expected to hold a PhD degree in Engineering and a P.Eng. designation or an application for P.Eng. may be required.
