TAX FREE!Location: Kuwait - Family/Resident PositionSenior Specialist- Reservoir Engineer (Chemical-EOR)Outstanding opportunity for an experienced Reservoir Simulation Engineer with advanced chemical simulation skills and enhanced oil recovery expertise.Perform special simulation modeling techniques for complex reservoirs such as fractured reservoirs, faulted reservoirs, rich gas condensates reservoirs, highly heterogeneous reservoirs, compartmentalized reservoirs, benched out and/or inter-coming led reservoirs.Perform model construction, history matching, calibration, prediction runs, and analysis and develop value-added solutions to address reservoir management challenges and requirements.Demonstrated record of successfully completing a significant number of practical reservoir studies involving reservoir description, fluid and rock property generation and chemical simulation such as CMG-STARS and UTCOMP.Integrates SCAL core analyses and PVT data during the development of integrated models for full field development plans.Conduct chemical simulation studies to assist in the design and management of chemical floods pilot design and implementation project.To conduct pilot study for Chemical EOR processes.Propose and study various alternatives to develop new fields and/or optimize current producing/injection schemes and strategies.Propose and implement new ideas to improve the simulation modeling workflow process.Provide training, mentoring and coaching to less experienced or new engineers.Design/management of single and inter-well tracer campaigns, EOR modeling/history-matching, interpretation of SCAL/production data.Perform Economic modeling that includes uncertainty and decision analysis.SCAL, SARA, CT imaging, NMR, adsorption/phase trapping experiments, EOR PVT analysis, chemical/water core-flooding, slim-tube tests and on-site QC/QA lab analysisRequirementsMinimum 15 years’ experience in Reservoir Engineering discipline.Experience in chemical EOR pilot performance monitoring and evaluation.Experience in Streamlines Simulation.Experience in modeling and evaluating horizontal and multi-laterals well technology.Experience in naturally fractured reservoirs modeling (Dual porosity/Dual permeability ), faulted reservoirs using un-structured gridding and/or compositional modeling, Knowledge of chemical EOR studies.Experience in developing equations of state and associated lab procedures for generating fluid property data employed in equation of state tuning.Familiar with reservoir description technology employing geo-statistical methodology and be able to coordinate and direct integrated reservoir description projects.Familiar with reservoir description technology employing geo-statistical methodology and be able to coordinate and direct integrated reservoir description projects.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
