Deliverables and Responsibilities:
Build, run and history match simulations for the key reservoirs in the Swara Tika and East Swara Tika fields.
o Reservoirs are dual porosity dual permeability fractured carbonates.
These models will be used for fine tuning development options and an acid gas injection strategy.
o These will include optimizing flow rates to minimize water and gas breakthrough.
These models will also form a basis for estimating oil in place and recoverable reserves for each horizon.
Provide technical support for well testing objectives and activities.
Provide support if needed for any revisions to the Swara Tika Development Plan
Train local staff as required.
Education and Work History Requirements / Guidelines
5 years or more of recent simulation modeling using Eclipse. Preferably in fractured carbonate reservoirs.
Familiarity with Petrel is a plus.
Willingness to travel as job requires 10-20% of time in Erbil and possibly London.
10+years of experience as a reservoir / petroleum engineer. Experience and expertise with Middle East fractured carbonates is a plus.
