Shell develops and operates some of the largest and most complex projects in the world and we always endeavor to work at the leading edge of technical innovation.   Job Description: ResponsibilitiesTo act as the Senior Reservoir Engineer and technical authority in the Shell T&T; Development organization, providing comprehensive reservoir engineering expertise to ongoing growth projects (e.g. Barracuda, Colibri, Loran-Manatee) and existing upstream assets (i.e. ECMA, NCMA and Central Block). The position offers a unique opportunity to have a mixture of study roles focusing on growth projects, and an asset role focusing on well and reservoir management. Accountabilities SafetyAttain and maintain Goal Zero in the office and in the field, including strict adherence to the Life Saving RulesLead reservoir engineer for growth projectsProduction forecasting in support of concept select, business planning and reservesTest multiple development scenarios and perform sensitivities on well count, well type, topside requirements and phasingLead delivery of field development plansProvide technical assurance of reservoir models to support development activitiesLead reservoir engineer for well, reservoir and facility management (WRFM)Identify and evaluate opportunities to safely optimize productionIdentify and evaluate key subsurface technical risks and develop mitigation plansLead annual reservoir reviews and highlight key improvement areasCoachingCoach, mentor and develop the skills of junior reservoir engineers to help improve technical competence levels and performanceShare technical best practices with the wider Shell community Job Requirements: Minimum of 10 years of reservoir engineering experience with an emphasis on reservoir modeling and simulationsBachelors or higher degree in Petroleum Engineering or closely related fieldAbility to work effectively with multiple teams to deliver and secure buy in for complex technologies and projectsAbility to analyze, support and communicate technical analysis and well-founded decisions to a broad range of potential stakeholdersAbility to integrate HSSE into plans and procedures and to deliver results in a changing organization with highly uncertain dataMotivated individual with strong 'can do' mentality and a sense of urgencyIPM, Eclipse and/or Petrel experience a plusLegal authorization to work in Trinidad & Tobago on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer Disclaimer: Please note: We occasionally amend or withdraw Shell jobs and reserve the right to do so at any time, including prior to the advertised closing date.Before applying, you are advised to read our data protection policy.
