Senior Reservoir Engineer — The Hague, Netherlands

Work will include support to and evaluation of new business opportunities, near-field exploration, field development planning, appraisal planning and production operations. The petroleum development department is a part of Exploration & Production; it has hundreds of employees and is one of the main business units within the company. As a Reservoir Engineer, forming part of an integrated developments team, your primary tasks will be support for assets and business units across the E&P portfolio.

Desired Skills and Experience

We require a master's degree in an engineering or scientific field with a relevant specialisation. You will have extensive relevant experience within upstream O&G business in different technical and geographical environments. Ideally, you will have working experience with an international operator.
You will be able work independently, as well as lead more junior team members in all of the following areas:

- Volumetric analysis
- Material balance analysis
- Reservoir heterogeneity and characterisation
- Fluid flow and well productivity analysis
- Fluid displacement analysis
- Reservoir simulation history matching for performance analysis and production forecasting
- Reservoir surveillance and management
- Fluid properties
- Reservoir rock properties
- IOR/EOR
- Reserves estimation
