Role Summary:
Baker Hughes, a GE company is seeking a Senior Reservoir Engineer to be based in Kuwait.

Essential Responsibilities:
Provides reservoir engineering input to multi-disciplinary projects, including field development planning, reservoir performance analysis, and reserves estimation

Conducts formation testing and fluid sampling studies using appropriate, state-of-the-art techniques including well test PTA and PVT analysis

May lead small project teams or manage simple projects

Participates in training programs for reservoir engineers as a content developer and/or instructor

Publishes and/or presents technical papers/posters at conferences or in professional journals

Handles special projects, as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline with minimum 6 years relevant work experience

Master's Degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline with minimum 5 years relevant work experience

PhD in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline with minimum 3 year of relevant work experience

Must be action oriented, ethical in value, and have a strong client focus

Excellent written and verbal communication

Must be able to work both independently and as part of multi-disciplined teams working with an extensive client base

Must be highly motivated with excellent analytical and interpersonal skills

Demonstrates knowledge of reservoir engineering principles and technical aspects of Wireline and LWD formation pressure testing and fluid sampling

Understands the Drilling and Evaluation business

Highly skilled in KAPPA software(Ecrin & Emeraude), Interpret, Pipesim or JewelSuite

Experience with industry software including: Petrel, Eclipse, Petroleum Expert IPM

Experience in standard petrophysical formation evaluation analysis and interpretation
