Summary:
A progressive and growing, privately held E&P; Company that is based in the Houston area, is looking for a Senior Reservoir Engineer with E&P; experience coming from large independents or majors. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.

Position Salary: Market Base Salary (Depending on Experience) + Potential Profit Sharing

Position Type: Direct Hire

Position Location: Houston, TX

Responsibilities:
Generated prospects in exploration and production environments, in different plays.

Participated in well planning and operations for different formations

Will focus on mainly West Texas & Oklahoma properties and focus on identifying/purchasing new projects.

Participated in well planning and operations for different formations

Help Map out formations for the company

Help create and brainstorm projects from conception through drilling

Incorporate 2D/3D Seismic mapping to help identify potential prospects, compartments, and drilling hazards

Manage multiple projects at one time

Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
Bachelors in Petroleum Engineering, Masters preferred. Other related engineering degrees will be considered.

10+ years’ experience, ideally with large independent or major

Heavy Production, Completion, and operations background is required

Must have had experience with both conventional and resource play experience, and must know how to select acreage that generates superior returns.

Strong ability on how to run economics on commercially available software is required

Strong communication skills both verbal and written are a must.
