Job DescriptionFull time staff positionProvide Reservoir Engineering support for RPC’s Duvernay shale assets and new venture opportunitiesReservoir evaluations trend to well production historyWell test and productivity analysisAnalyze pressure, temperature, rate data and conduct reservoir simulations to optimize reservoir management strategiesCreating type curves utilizing all data to maximize well recoveryWork in unison with RPC multidisciplinary team to complete comprehensive assessment of production performance, subsurface studies, and reserve estimationWork on Field Development Planning (FDP) of RPC current and future assetsSurveillance Modeling of Material Balance, Decline Analysis, Numerical Simulation Modeling, PVT Modeling, and Pressure Transient AnalysisSupport full cycle assessment of opportunities in the company’s portfolioRequirements & CompetenciesAt least 10 Years of Reservoir Engineering experience, including unconventional (shale gas, tight oil, tight gas) knowledge being a requirementDegree/Masters in Petroleum Engineering or similar engineering disciplineProvide direction during periods of corporate review and consideration of Acquisitions and DivestituresExcellent reporting and presentation skills are requiredEffective time-management and prioritization skillsProfessional Engineer registered with APEGAComfortable working in an evolving and changing environmentFamiliar with Accumap, Value NavigatorExtensive experience relating to numerical reservoir simulation and proficiency in advanced reservoir simulation software packagesJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $140,000.00 to $200,000.00 /yearEducation:Bachelor's DegreeLocation:CalgaryLicence:APEGALanguage:English
