Job Description

  • Validate reservoir data (static and above all dynamic) on which discovery and reservoir assessments are based
  • Coordinate specialist studies required for reservoir characterization and simulation
  • Conduct and guarantee the dynamic data synthesis and requisite scale changes
  • Contribute to the creation of reservoir models and Assure their consistency with dynamic objectives (profiles, reserves,...)
  • Conduct reservoir simulations in liaison with geophysicists, reservoir specialists and reservoir geologists and optimise flow modelling on the basis of heterogeneities
  • Assure the quality of studies:  verify the validity and consistency of the methods employed
  • Rank and combine uncertainties and implement the necessary studies (experimental design, …)
  • Design, from the reservoir aspect, optimized delineation programmes and/ or development schemes. Define study and / or acquisition programmes required for their implementation (seismic data, well data, …)
  • Ensure that costs, deadlines and objectives are met

Candidate profile

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Geosciences and Reservoir modelling and simulation and reservoir production monitoring / optimization.
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English
  • International mobility
