Seeking a highly experienced reservoir engineer to work within corporate reserves group. Candidate will be responsible for preparing and coordinating reserves reporting as well as contributing to budgeting and forecasting efforts, and evaluating prospective acquistions and divestitures and development and exploration scenarios.
What you will be doing.
Contributing to the preparation and coordination of corporate reserve reports
Preparing budgets, forecasts and SEC reserves reporting documents
Conducting economic evaluation of acquisitions and divestitures, and exploration and development opportunities
Providing variance analysis of actual to predicted well performance and spending
Carrying out audits and technical reviews on projects at key milestones
Evaluating development scenarios, reserve profiles and profitability on existing properties or potential exploration ideas
Establishing and maintaining corporate standards for reserve reporting
Working with Investor Relations to prepare materials for Investor Presentations and Management meetings
Supporting Asset Teams by providing data and technical expertise as needed
What you need to work here.
Minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience
BS Petroleum Engineering
Experience with acquistions and divestitures, reserve estimations and decline curve analysis
Proficiency with ARIES
