The role is based in Cairo, Egypt
Our Client is an Oil & Gas Exploration and Production independent private operator, which is relocating its head office to Cairo, Egypt. The company owns an oil-rich producing concession in Yemen with substantial exploration potential. Approximately 15-20% of the reserves were produced by March 2015 at which point the operations were shut down. The company has recently embarked on an ambitious development plan to bring back production to levels substantially higher than those prior to 2015 and add reserves with reviving exploration activities.
Your Skills and Experience:
A minimum 15, preferably 20+ years industry experience.
A major part of this experience must be on naturally fracture carbonates reservoirs with complex production schemes and long reach horizontal oil producers, with a presence of gas cap and water.
Extensive experience in dual porosity/permeability modeling.
Good knowledge of ECLIPSE and of most petroleum engineering software packages.
Experience in working as a member of an integrated geosciences/engineering team and be a strong team player.
