Our client is a leading independent international oil and gas exploration and production company with international operations and offices.
Like most oil operators their key strategy is to deliver growth from existing producing assets, ongoing developments, high potential exploration opportunities and acquisitions, while maintaining a healthy balance sheet.
Their core values of creativity, dynamism, professionalism, respect and tenacity have helped build and sustain a successful business, and we continue to be committed to investing in our people, and the countries and communities in which we operate. They pride themselves on a diverse, high-achieving workforce, which is currently expanding rapidly to reflect their growing operational presence.
The Senior Reservoir Engineer will be responsible for managing the subsurface aspects of their Late Life projects and the BU verification of the reservoir engineering work programmes to ensure that:
- The subsurface static and dynamic models reflect the information acquired during the production life cycle of the asset.
- The appropriate level of support is provided to the Project team to ensure the appropriate next steps are secured for the asset
- The verification of the reservoir engineering aspects of the UK subsurface teams work programmes is achieved ahead of decision recommendations, reserves, budgets and production forecast submissions
In addition to the above the incumbent will be responsible for interacting and influencing other functional leaders within the BU as well as local and corporate management to communicate effectively the impact of the results of reservoir engineering studies and work programmes.
The role will report to the Late Life project manager with a functional link to the Subsurface Manager and Chief Reservoir Engineer.
