Under general supervision, maintains reserves database with new working interests and all facets of economic data. Analyzes raw data for input modeling and verifies costs, gathering fees, and net revenues from lease operating statements. Supports Corporate Reserves team by gathering and analyzing various data for new acquisitions. Modifies databases for acquisitions and assists in preparing, analyzing and presenting economic reports.
Support reservoir engineers and A&D; group by performing complex data input, QC, data management, presentation and mapping.
Query & analyze information from multiple data sources.
Communicate with Accounting, Engineering, Operations, etc. to resolve questions/issues related to well performance and company operations.
Coordinate reserve review process with Corporate Reserves team utilizing Aries.
Assist in preparing quarterly and annual reserve reports, presentations of reserve report data for meetings and A&D; deal reviews.
Prepare and present analysis of basic reserve data, economics and A&D; deal metrics.
Assist Corporate Reserves with reserve management issues related to reserves booking and reporting.
Responsible for reserve outlooks throughout year and yearend reserve reporting.
Assist with other FP&A; responsibilities, such as planning and budgeting functions.
Education and Work Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Math, Economics or Science related field required
Minimum 8 years’ experience in the Oil/Gas Industry preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of reserve estimation techniques and SEC reserve guidelines.
Strong database (Access, Oracle, SQL, Microsoft BI, SpotFire, VBA) and Excel skills.
Excellent economic analysis skills.
Consistent attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Ability to quickly and effectively analyze, reconcile, and present data.
Strong written and communication skills interfacing with all levels of the organization, including management.
Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment
VBA, Aries and SQL experience is preferred, but not required.

Environmentally controlled with no exposure to extreme changes in the weather, and limited exposure to humidity/moisture relative to atmospheric condition variations.
No exposure to dust, chemicals, gases, fumes, smoke, excessive noise, and/or vibrations
Work generally performed in an office environment.
Travel may be required for assignments, meetings, and training.
Overtime, Weekend and/or Holiday hours may be required.
