As operations continue to advance and optimise, the focus for this notable owner-operator has now shifted to ensuring resources are in place to meet production targets for the next twenty years. Large scale unconventional gas developments and the advancement of various exploration projects will present a variety of technical and commercial challenges, requiring out-of-the-box thinking and a unique approach to ensure successful delivery.

The position of Senior Production Technologist sits within the multi-disciplined Development Team, providing expertise, technical leadership and guidance across production technology and subsurface work programs, projects and studies.

Key accountabilities:
Define and deliver relevant production technology work scopes to support development activities
Use various analytical tools to perform inflow-outflow evaluations, designing, evaluating, and optimising completion or artificial lift concepts
Oversee the integration of results to evolve the stimulation plan and update the forward program
Expectation modelling, stimulated well/pattern modelling and value of information exercises
Provide post-frac technical evaluations; artificial lift design and full life cycle strategy assessments
Liaise with Production Operations on well operating philosophies, pump sizing and artificial lift optimisation
Collaborate with relevant business groups to deliver wells onto production test and maximise availability

Knowledge and experience required:
Tertiary qualifications in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent
Demonstrated working history in unconventional resources focusing on production and reservoir engineering
Technical knowledge of reservoir simulation and hydraulic fracture modelling; artificial lift design; well planning; field development and well completions
Advanced user of MS Suite and relevant PE software including hydraulic fracturing and well performance systems
