Job Description
We’re currently recruiting for a Senior Production Technologist / Production Technology Technical Authority (TA2), who will provide technical expertise within a multi-disciplinary production, development, drilling/completions and facilities team consisting of experienced and specialist professionals. This role will be responsible for Shell Australia West Coast Production Technology delivery for both Shell-Operated Assets (Prelude FLNG, Crux, Exploration) and ad-hoc support to Non-Operated Assets (as part of Shell partnership in Gorgon (CVX), North West Shelf (Woodside), Browse (Woodside).

As the Senior Production Technologist / PT TA2 you will be accountable for the Production Technology team delivery of the following key subjects;
Well Integrity
Inflow- Outflow modelling
Well Reservoir and Facilities Management (WRFM)
Sand Production Management
Well intervention design
Well completion design and sand-face completion design
General support of the Shell Australia Development activities.
The incumbent will also have the role of Shell Australia West Coast PT Discipline Lead - i.e. managing capacity and capability of the discipline – and will be part of the Shell Australia Development Extended Leadership Team.

To be successful in securing this role, the candidate we seek will need to demonstrate skills in Production Technology as well as Production Technology Technical Assurance/TA2 capability (must-have)
The incumbent will also need to demonstrate skills in managing multiple interfaces inside and outside the team across locations and demonstrated ability to technically integrate complex multi-functional workstreams across various work locations, especially in a technical assurance context.

The candidate will have extensive experience in the detailed design and operation of subsea high-rate gas wells will be essential, as will experience in both subsea and platform-based gas fields.
