LOCATION: Aberdeen, United Kingdom
STATUS: Full-time
ONSHORE RATE: GBP 450 per day
OFFSHORE RATE: +GBP 80 per day for days 1-5 & GBP 700 per day thereafter.
START DATE: ~1 September, 2018
DURATION: 12 months (initially) and renewable thereafter depending on performance and client's requirements.
Due to increasing market demand for our Petroleum Engineering & Well Integrity consultancy services, we require to recruit an experienced Production Engineer to work with one of our Aberdeen-based E&P clients.
This full-time role shall be based at the client's premises at their UK headquarters in the city of Aberdeen. The hours of work are Monday-Friday, 09:00 - 17:00 hrs.
The nature of the role requires a considerable degree of competency (knowledge + experience) in offshore Production Engineering. The candidate shall have a minimum of 15 years' demonstrable experience in oilfield Production Engineering. Offshore/wellsite experience is a pre-requisite and no exceptions shall be made to this.
A combination of the following skills & abilities is sought;
Production & Petroleum Engineering, EOR, HPHT, Reservoir Management, Well Integrity (incl ISO/TS 16530-2, Norsok D-010), Annulus Pressure Management & MAASP (to API RP 90), CBL planning & interpretation, Production monitoring and optimisation, Gas lift (conventional & inverted), Well Modelling & Design, Production Management, Data Room, Asset Integrity, Corrosion & Materials, New field development, Offshore Supervision, ESP’s, Drilling & Workover, HAZID, HAZOP, Risk Assessment, Flow-Assurance, Chemical Selection, Operations Readiness & Assurance, Metering & Allocation, Well Testing (planning & execution).
EDUCATION: (Minimum) BSc Chemistry/Physics/Petroleum Engineering/Chemical Engineering from a European Union/Economic Area, North/South American, Australian/NZ University. Qualifications from other jurisdictions shall not be considered.
OILFIELD TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
- Basic offshore safety induction & emergency training (BOSIET)
- Minimum industry safety training (MIST)
If the successful candidate's certificates are not current, a willingness to update such training is required. Training costs (incl. travel & accommodation) shall be reimbursed.
