TGS provides multi-client geoscience data to oil and gas Exploration and Production companies worldwide. In addition to extensive global geophysical and geological data libraries that include multi-client seismic data, magnetic and gravity data, digital well logs, production data and directional surveys, TGS also offers advanced processing and imaging services, interpretation products, permanent reservoir monitoring and data integration solutions.
The Seismic Processing Geophysicist will be responsible for leading 2D and 3D land processing projects per client specifications. Other responsibilities include interfacing with clients (internal or external) regarding project status and quality control.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Proficient in all aspects of land seismic data processing from geometry to pre-stack migration, including multiple survey merges.
Proficient in processing steps including statics, deconvolution, de-noise, de-multiple, regularization/interpolation, and migration
Test and implement cutting edge signal processing and imaging technologies for complex problem solving
Proficiency with advanced processing techniques, such as AVAZ/VVAZ
Responsible for quality control of data.
Mentor less experienced employees.
Completes assigned tasks, ensuring projects meet or exceed quality and turnaround objectives
Proficient in the role of Lead Geophysicist or Processing Team Leader on one or more processing projects
Monthly and weekly POC forecast and reporting for assigned processing projects
Ensure proper use of assigned disk and computer allocation
Maintain accurate production records and status reporting
Preparation and shipping of final data deliverables on assigned processing projects
Check Pilot Signoffs and Peer Reviews
Able to process (or manage the processing) of several projects and people concurrently
Lead some client meetings for key geophysical topics
Plays a significant role in the training and mentoring of staff.
Complete assigned tasks and projects on time

Job Requirements (Education and Experience):
BSc or higher in geophysics, geology, physics, math or equivalent knowledge level
Capable of being a Processing Expert in three or more areas.
A minimum of 8 - 13 years of processing experience
Land depth imaging and/or multi-component processing experience would be an asset
Have comprehensive knowledge to solve the more complex geophysical problems
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
Capable of working independently and will therefore have a comprehensive knowledge of data processing
Enjoys working in a team environment.
Good grasp of geophysical and geological principles.
Advanced problem solving and multi-tasking skills are needed.
Ability to effectively organize teams and projects
