Support development wells data acquisition operations as well as field / prospect evaluation work by providing well petrophysical evaluation of wireline / MWD dataset, determination of reservoir rock / core properties, relative permeability curves and saturation height models for input in development decisions. Manages relevant contract evaluation / tendering process for related data acquisition (wireline logging / MWD / coring) activities.
Appraisal & Prospect Evaluation
Support Exploration prospect evaluations jointly with the team and provide guidance on Appraisal activities within the Business Unit.
Prepare cost-effective and definitive Wireline and LWD programs for all new Exploration, Appraisal, and Development wells.
Support in defining appraisal strategy / plan including data acquisition requirements.
E&P; – New Wells
Prepare preliminary interpretations (analysis of rock properties; lithology, clay content, porosity, hydrocarbon saturation and hydrocarbon content) during the drilling operation and a final log interpretation at TD.
Identify uncertainty in reservoir properties through petrophysical models.
Managing wireline / MWD contractors and ensure offshore data acquisition is as per MP requirements.
Well sampling programs
Assist in design of MDT and downhole sampling programs.
Assist in field design, development and surveillance plan.
Manage contractor performing well sampling activities.
Field Development Studies
Assist and provide inputs to reservoir engineers and geo modellers to build / update the field static and dynamic models.
Support and provide inputs to the reserves estimator engineer.
Provide input to relevant Area / Field Development Plans and Reservoir Management Plan.
Support post drilling evaluation and any FDP update.
Plan and maintain a dedicated database for Wireline/LWD data, Directional Surveys, Pay Summaries and Interpretation/Image playbacks.
Review new tools and / or additional modules required for Petrophysical analysis.
Stay current with new techniques for well intervention, data acquisition, and other discipline activities.
Health, Safety, Quality & Environment
Ensure compliance to all relevant Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental management procedures and controls across the engineering plan to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.
