The candidate must have:
Extensive working knowledge of vendor tools and data acquisition practices.
Demonstrated ability to use industry standard petrophysical data processing and interpretation software (Interactive Petrophysics software)
Experience with integrated petrophysical studies and petrophysical modelling
Demonstrate ability to communicate clearly with specialists in exploration, reservoir, drilling and production engineering
Conducted comprehensive petrophysical studies and analyses by integrating logging tool responses, rock, fluid and production data for formation evaluation and reservoir surveilance
Designed and overseen core and fluid studies to enhance petrophysical models
Developed verifiable petrophysical models for incorporation into static and dynamic reservoir models for volumetric prediction and development planning
Evaluated new logging tools and data acquisition and analysis procedures in terms of cost and technology
The ability to assist Procurement with technical evaluations in vendor tendering process
Proven track record with logging operations and geosteering
Minimum B Sc. degree in petroleum or reservoir engineering, geology, geophysics, or physics. M.Sc. or Ph.D is strongly desirable.
12 + years of relevant experience Fluent in Norwegian and English Proficiency with petrophysical software, i.e. Geo2Flow, Petrel,
Good team player, strong communication and interpersonal skills
