As a senior member of geoscience team, expectation is set high to deliver the set of agreed key business goals, which are fully aligned with business development, sales and operation goals for relevant geomarket product lines.
Accountable to deliver set of business goals. The main customer is the client (operator) as well as BHI operations.
Coordinates geoscience activities from assignment until delivery in collaborative way with ops and sales organization.
May be supervising the team of less experienced geosciences members assigned to him. Accountable for Geoscience Petrophysical related tasks and duties. Reports to Geoscience & Formation Evaluation Manager.
Processes, manages, interprets, and/or presents integrated well or field studies. Assists with interviews and mentors less experienced geoscience staff.
Assist with up-sells of acquisition jobs from the geoscience delivered value point of view. Provides quality control of his/her and others’ geoscience deliverables.
Works under limited direction. Manages client expectations and satisfaction and handles special projects, as assigned.
Senior Petrophysicist has operating and services companies experience.
Bachelor’s Degree in discipline, earth science, or related science or equivalent industry experience in lieu of degree. 10+ years PP experience with BS Degree, 7+ years PP experience with MS degree, 5+ years PP experience with PhD.
Combination of reputable Operator and Service Company experience is preferred. Candidate is preferred to have sales training and negotiation skills, demonstrated skills in organizational and people management, strong project management, interpersonal, client management/relations and team work skills.
Mandatory expectation is to be on live-in status. Majority of time will be spent in KSA (50% in client office, 50% in house).
Willing to travel to Dubai, Houston or Celle for training.
