This is a unique opportunity to join Origin's Reedy Creek, Combabula and Peat (RCCP) asset team based in Brisbane. Reporting to the Reservoir, Appraisal & Development Manager, this positon is focussed on leading development planning for greenfield developments in the Asset. This will done by working with a multi-disciplinary team to optimise future development, assess reserves and resources, and input to IG portfolio plan for the RCCP Asset. Your responsibilities will include:
Managing Development Packages through Deliver Wells process
Managing any appraisal activities (eg pilots) through Deliver Projects process
Formatting, inputting and quality control of development packages and well scope for assigned fields into Planning Space
Taking the lead in optimising development plans by co-ordinating work of reservoir engineers, geoscientists, surface facility engineers, drilling and completion engineers, field production engineers, commercial analysts and economists as required
Keeping abreast of development outcomes and learnings in development areas and apply to future development plans
Developing analytical well models where appropriate, or where simulation models are not available, to generate production forecasts for development optimisation and reserves and resource assessment
Preparing Development Package work books for use at approval gates up to and including AFF gate

You’ll need to be collaborative, proactive, diligent and a confident communicator. You will be solution focused and driven with the ability to handle a fast-paced environment and diverse workload whilst also keeping safety at the forefront.
You will have:
Extensive experience in the oil and gas industry
A degree in relevant engineering discipline preferably in Petroleum Engineering
Knowledge of other subsurface disciplines including geosciences
Extensive technical knowledge of Petroleum Engineering disciplines with emphasis on CSG
Knowledge and experience in production forecasting, fracture stimulation, risk analysis and reserves estimation
Experience with CSG Operator in Petroleum Engineering is preferable
Knowledge of gas production operations and associated gas production infrastructure
Knowledge of commercial and economic analysis
