Several positions as Senior Petroleum Engineers are open and linked to both operated and non-operated assets, in production or in development planning phase.The successful candidates will be a part of a team and it is expected that they actively seek advice and perspectives fromcolleagues and leaders within own section, the organization at large and from other cooperating sources. Optimize productionOptimize upper and lower completion design Assess need for artificial liftPlan and supervise well interventionsPlan cased hole logging activities. Interpret results.Monitor and evaluate reservoir performanceUse advanced modelling tools for wells/reservoirs which integrate rock mechanics, temperature modelling and production chemistryDevelop and maintain oil field data acquisition strategies and plans Ensure awareness of and contribute to any specific objective within the annual planBuild and maintain network models for production, gas lift, gas and water injection systems. Develop full understanding of remaining reservoir opportunities that could be economically justified in an effort to maximize production and value from the fieldCoaching and mentoring of junior staffRoles the Petroleum Engineer interact with: Team: Geophysicist, Reservoir Engineer, Operation and Development Geologists, Asset/Hub: Operation, Projects, Drilling & Completion, Finance and External: License Partners and authorities
Sound production and reservoir engineering understandingAbility to integrate effectively across disciplines and communicate risks and opportunitiesWorking experience with Prosper, MBAL, GAP and Open ServerWorking knowledge of PVTSIM, REVEAL and RESOLVE is required.In order to maintain up to date network models, the petroleum engineer needs to be an expert integrator of multidiscipline dataMinimum M.Sc. plus 10 years work experience, across various assets Well-developed production technology skills and experience within the areas of field development, production and well planning/execution
