An exciting opportunity with an established leading Middle East based National Oil Company where the incumbent shall be accountable to monitor the ongoing activities of assigned wells and reservoirs to investigate and recommend solutions to short-term oil production anomalies or short-falls and develop proposals and schedules for completion, stimulation, workover and related testing and logging requirements to optimize production and operational efficiency.
Carries out surveillance activities of assigned wells to advise on or program work and study requirements to optimise well and reservoir production.
Receives, records and analyzes production and test data, such as various well-tests, water cuts, flow rates, etc., and notes anomalies for investigation in liaison with Reservoir Engineers and Field Operations personnel.
Recommends requirements for well workover prognosis to optimise safe production testing and logging operations.
Participates in the preparation of detailed proposals for routine completion, testing and workover program or special program for well stimulation and corrosion and scaling inhibition.
Reviews well history and verifies well-head and downhole pressures, flow rates, etc., to calculate or design standard program features applicable to proposed work.
Prepares design concepts for wells and facilities. Includes identifying well types (production/injection, vertical, deviated horizontal, slim) configuration and total number of wells to meet development concept(s) taking into consideration, tubing, producing casing size, need for artificial lift, future recompletion and abandonment requirement.
