A very senior opportunity has opened up with a major oil & gas entity of Malaysia where the incumbent with experience in 'Production Sharing Contracts' (PSC) shall independently compile and produce risk based business and economic evaluations for existing operations and new business ventures in order to support operational and strategic decisions.
Develops and agrees assumptions with due input from the various functional specialists.
Performing risk based economic evaluations to evaluate the economic feasibility of upstream projects thereby facilitating the investment decision-making process alignment to the business drivers.
Provides economic modeling and sensitivity analysis in order to fully understand and implement value drivers that could significantly enhance project returns for both the upstream and downstream value chain.
Preparation and interpretation of economic results to ensure the required position papers for appropriate mandates are achieved.
Economic evaluation and model integrating of Upstream and GTL projects.
Provides necessary input into MOU's, business model discussions, strategy, due diligence, statutory reporting etc.
Provides negotiation support for the team.
Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, economics or finance (must). MBA will be an added advantage.
At least 16 years relevant working experience preferably in two or more of the following areas: operations, technical, business analysis, financial, commercial.
Investment analysis expertise
Business Qualification (optional)
Experience in petrochemical and or upstream gas & oil industry.
Experience in Production Sharing Contracts (PSC) in offshore is a desirable for this role.
Experience in Production Sharing Contracts in one or more global areas such as Gulf of Mexico, South America, Middle East, South East Asia or Australasia would be an advantage.
