Pipe-It from Tieto, is a leading integrated asset modelling (IAM) software suite for asset management and optimization in oil and gas. Pipe-It is being used by some of the largest and most demanding oil and gas operators globally, enabling them to increase production and NPV for an asset over the entire life cycle. Pipe-It integrates and optimizes models and data across the oil and gas value chain, from sub-surface to point of sales, to deliver solutions focusing on long term planning and short-term operational decision support.

We seek a high performing Senior Business Analyst to work in our professional implementation team in Trondheim or Oslo, delivering our Pipe-It software to our customers internationally.

You will take on key roles in our global projects:

Facilitating and leading workshops with clients, for the purpose of analysing and gathering user requirements and documenting business processes.
Analysis of business requirements and presentation of findings in clear and concise documentation including gap analysis, identification of risks, dependencies and recommendations for process improvement.
Configuring Pipe-It to meet business requirements.
Integration of domain-specific simulation models across the oil and gas value chain within Pipe-It.
(Junior) Project management, ideally in the information technology sector, including management of small teams (2 – 5 members) through the entire project life cycle. Experience with both waterfall and agile methodologies is desirable.

Required skills and experience

5+ years of Oil & Gas (Upstream and/or Midstream) Domain experience.
Bachelor or Master's degree within Petroleum Technology or Cybernetics or similar
Experience in reservoir, process or production system modelling and analysis.
Have a solid understanding of the upstream Oil & Gas value chain.
Having strong sense of ownership, self-driven and ambitious
Have a strong desire to learn and adapt new skills, tools and technologies
Willing to work in a highly complex environment
Able to cooperate with business stakeholders at multiple levels in an organization
As a person you are clear communicator (written and verbal)
Speak fluently Norwegian and English
Able to work in multi-cultural set up
Able to work in a team and to network
Able to start with minimum information and proactively gain knowledge
Have a positive attitude
