Job Summary

 

DNO Norge AS is seeking enthusiastic geoscience explorationists with documented experience from different play models on the NCS. Focus will be on prospect generation and evaluation in connection with licence round applications and farm-in opportunities. Experience from development projects and producing assets will be valued.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Part of Exploration Team with main focus on seismic interpretation and prospect generation in connection with licence rounds and farm-ins 
  • Prospect evaluation including volumetric calculations and risking
  • Licensing round documentation and application
  • Represent DNO in licence committees

 

Required Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum Bachelor degree or equivalent in Geology or Geophysics

  • 8+ years experience from the E&P industry with detailed knowledge of NCS play models
  • Seismic interpreter with the ability to evalutate a variety of traps, including subtle stratigraphic traps
  • Perform well ties and basic understanding of velocity modeling
  • Ability to integrate a variety of geological and geophysical data
  • Experienced user of industry standard software
  • Specialist level competence from one or more disciplines such as AVO studies, Rock Physics, Structural Geology, Sedimentology, Petroleum Systems Analysis and Petrophysics
