We are currently looking for a Senior Geophysicist to join our client's team in Stavanager

Key Duties
Works independently, with input from more senior geoscientists in the companyExhibits strong teamwork, communication and problem-solving skillsIndependently delivers geophysical evaluation of a mature field and geophysical input to static and dynamic models.Proficient in 3D seismic interpretation techniques and integration into reservoir modelling workflow. Advanced skills
in seismic attribute extraction methods and quantitative seismic interpretation, with special focus on conditioning of
reservoir properties and architecture and recommendations for future development.
Performs independent evaluation of 4D datasets to support field development decisions and reservoir management.Provides High quality geophysical input into development projects, generation of infill drilling opportunities and monitoring
and evaluation of well results.
Participates in multi-disciplinary project teams, being able to lead in case required.Liaises with exploration department to assist near field exploration evaluation, including regional reviews and prospect specific work.Provides technical leadership / advice on geophysics related topics across all assets, through peer assists and technical forums

Experience & Qualifications
Master’s degree in Geophysics or GeologyMinimum ten years of experience with major NCS operator as development or production geophysicistExperience with seismic interpretation in Petrel is preferredStrong technical background in quantitative interpretationMixed Geologist / Geophysicist experience would be a plusExtensive reservoir modelling experience, preferably with Petrel
