Description

This role reports to the VP New Access:
Ability to incorporate geology and reservoir engineering data to identify sweet spots in unconventional and conventional reservoirs
Ability to put together a horizontal development plan for field development
Ability to put together reservoir evaluation and logging plan for initial test wells
Proven capabilities in computer based mapping and construction of integrated geological databases with appropriate documentation of work products
Working knowledge and ability to integrate petrophysical analysis into geological models and mapping
Ability to incorporate geochemistry data and petroleum systems analysis into overall interpretation of basin and prospects
Strong understanding of exploration risk and probabilistic analysis
Geological Mapping Software – proficient with Kingdom with knowledge on other applicable geological mapping software such as Petrel as well as ArcGIS is a plus
Engineering Software – proficient with Aries and Knowledgeable on Enersight is a plus
Commercial and economic mindset with focus on spending time directed towards value adding projects
Qualifications
Minimum 4 year college degree with preference for Masters in Geology, Geophysics or related discipline
Minimum 5+ years overall experience
