Technically assess the robustness and uncertainty around reservoir characterization efforts by Operator.  Evaluate and identify strengths and weaknesses in work presented by Operator and work to influence Operator workplans. Is proficient in Petrel and able to guide and mentor junior Geoscientists in the basics of Geocellular Modelling. Work closely with a team of geologists, geophysicists, and engineers to provide robust in place and recoverable resource ranges and optimize short and long-term field development plans and strategies. Work remotely with additional technical resources in the Houston office, such as Petrophysicists, Biostratigraphers and Geochemists to ensure best practice workflows are followed. Interpret and evaluate subsurface data (geologic, geophysical, D&C;, dynamic data) to construct integrated displays, assess in-place resource ranges, and contribute to the development plans for non-operated fields. Collaborate with Functional Specialists (Geoscience Function, Central Engineering) on geological/subsurface related matters regularly. Experience in managing and integrating various forms of geologic data required. Experience with reservoir characterization, geological modeling, and development planning in a production geoscience environment required. Familiarity with deterministic and probabilistic assessment of in-place hydrocarbon resources, range analysis methods, and differentiating risk and uncertainty. Familiarity with well planning and operations an advantage. Proficient working knowledge of Petrel and Studio tools.
