Overview / Responsibilities
Wood is seeking a qualified, high energy, self-starter applicant for the position of Senior Level Geologist in Helena, MT. Will work on an on call, as needed basis depending on project need.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare reports for projects and support proposal efforts
Skills / Qualifications
Bachelors Degree (or equivalent experience) in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or other applicably relevant educational background10 to 15+ years of experience in the engineering consulting industryProficient in managing field sampling programsProficiency in geosciences/geologyExperience in a variety of projects in the same fieldsExperience with Federal and State environmental regulationsExcellent written/verbal communication and skills in writing detailed technical reports/proposalsUnderstanding of environmental permit application requirements, and proven ability to establish strong relationships with regulatory authorities and clients Adept at organizing and analyzing information with the ability to handle multiple assignments Proficiency in hydrogeology a plusExperience in managing staff and project teams is preferred Must pass drug test, background check and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving (MVR) policy
