Warwick Group is seeking an experienced Senior Geologist. The Senior Geologist will be responsible and accountable for all aspects of subsurface geoscience studies, input into multi-discipline subsurface interpretations and recommendations that fulfill production goals and add reserves to the company. Specifically, we are looking for an experienced Geoscience professional with a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.

BA/BS, MA/MS in Geosciences (or related fields)
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry, with a minimum of 7 years of experience with increasing responsibilities
Strong analytical and operational background skills
Effective communication skills, with a commitment to high safety and ethical standards
Ability to work in a collaborative, team environment and can make significant contributions to key technical proposals
Able to work independently, seeking out creative and innovative solutions
Proficiency in presentation of verbal and written reports to Leadership
Perform geologic analysis and interpretation on a variety of subsurface data sets including all aspects of Unconventional Resource play evaluation and assessment in a variety of North American onshore basins
Ability to incorporate multiple types of data (Seismic, Core, Elog, etc.) to establish a complete integrated interpretation
Create, present, and maintain maps and cross sections used for various team and executive level meetings to support Geoscience recommendations
Understand and effectively apply knowledge of Petroleum Economics to drive technical focus and investment decisions
Experience in a collaborative, multi-discipline environment, working closely with reservoir and production engineering to develop complex reservoir models
Ability to geosteer and interpret mudlog descriptions including cuttings samples/core chips/shows
Interpretation, integration of all geologic and StarSteer geosteering data into Geographix software
Proficient in communication skills across multiple disciplines with both oral and written reports and updates as dictated by company activity
Ability to travel to wellsite as needed for 24-hour assistance and oversight on Geoscience functions including mudlogging, wireline logging, directional control
Demonstrated relevant work experience and clear track record in multiple North American basins including: Anadarko, Permian, Powder River, and Williston Basin, with unconventional play development a must
Mentoring of less experienced staff
